Great Bear Vineyards offers an exciting lineup of special events and one-of-a-kind experiences. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast looking to get hands on in the vineyard or simply looking for a fun outing, we have something for everyone!
From relaxed wine tastings and immersive vineyard tours to lively Friday nights, seasonal celebrations, and hands-on wine-making experiences, our events are designed to bring people together over exceptional wine and warm hospitality.
Every Friday, 5-8pm from March to December we have live music and a food truck. The live music is generally from 6-7:30pm and the food truck from 5-8pm but arrive early to snag your seats.

Music & Food Trucks
FRIDAY NIGHTS - we have Live Music from 6-7.30pm & Food Truck from 5-8 pm.
Friday nights at Great Bear Vineyards are where the week unwinds and the weekend begins. Join us every Friday—open from noon to 8pm—for an evening that pairs our estate-grown wines with a lively rotation of live music from 6–7:30pm and food trucks from 5–8pm. Each week brings a fresh vibe, from jazz and oldies to folk and country & western, alongside crave-worthy cuisine like wood-fired pizza, Maine lobster, Louisiana specialties, BBQ, and burgers. No two Fridays are the same, so be sure to check our store for upcoming bands and food trucks.
In January and February, we’re still open on Fridays from noon–8pm; weather permitting, we’ll host music and a food truck on warm, dry evenings. But even if it’s raining, you’re warmly invited to settle in with a glass in our cozy Dance Hall tasting room.
Vineyard & Winery Tours
We are happy to walk guests around the vineyard & winery explaining our sustainable growing practices to produce premium quality grapes, and our traditional wine production practices. It is best to request a tour in advance of your visit to ensure that we have staff available to devote to your experience.
Grape Harvest & Wine Making
Join our harvest, pick grapes, crush & destem, watch the pitching of the yeast, and start the wonderful process of wine making. You will also be able to barrel taste and learn how a wine progresses from harvest through aging to bottling. And, join us for a traditional harvest lunch with wine of course!
Lavender Picking
Ask about joining our lavender harvest…or just picking a bunch for yourself…proceeds from fresh lavender sales go to local charities.
Yoga & Wine
The prefect way to relax…a yoga session followed by a glass of wine or two. Meet new people or bring your friends and make it a special evening out.

Paint & Sip
A fun event! You don’t need any previous skill, just a love of life and art…or simply enjoy a good time with friends. Sip on our wonderful wines as you paint! What could be more fun?

Farm to Fork Dinners
We work with local chefs and growers to throw sumptuous farm-to-fork dinners for our special Wine Club members. Please check the website store for the forthcoming dinners and events - new dates announced throughout the year.
Ask about our creating a personalized culinary event for your special occasion such as a work gathering, birthday or holiday party. Enjoy dining “winery style” with an elegant Mediterranean themed three-course dinner in our tasting room for 10-14 people or al fresco dining for up to 50 people (or more buffet style).

We cannot wait for this event each year! It is truly spectacular!
Chocolate & Wine Pairing
There is no greater luxury than the melding of rich chocolates and fine wine.
Upon arrival, we will welcome you with a glass of bubbly and you'll enjoy a flight of 4 chocolates perfectly paired with 4 of our wines. A fun event where your taste buds are stimulated, and you learn a lot about wine and chocolate….and how they can pair (and clash)!

Cheese & Wine Pairing
A wonderful introduction to the world of wine and cheese pairing. We have chosen a selection of local and international cheeses that pair with a range of our wines.
Upon arrival, we will welcome you with a glass of bubbly, and then we will walk you through the tasting as a group. It is a fun and filling event.

Weddings & Private Parties
Please email us with the details of your celebration or special occasion. We love to host all types of parties from small intimate gatherings to big celebrations of up to 250 guests. Please let us know your preferred date or day, time, estimated number of guests, start/end times, and we will get back to you with a quote and suggestions for the most suitable room or garden at our winery for your event.

Weddings
Great Bear Vineyards is a special place for your perfect day. We love to host wedding celebrations, rehearsal dinners and wedding brunches. However, we do not hold the wedding ceremonies - our couples get married in a church, courthouse or town hall, and then come to us to celebrate and sip sparkling wine!
We are the perfect place to begin your wedding weekend with fabulous rehearsal dinners, and of course, our sparkling and reserve wines. We would love to be the location for your celebration lunch, dinner or dance. Or just come along for a delicious sip of wine and beautiful photoshoot.
