We offer five unique ways to enjoy our award-winning wines, whether you're here for a relaxed afternoon, a special celebration, or an exploration of rare and exclusive vintages.
Signature Wine Tasting – Savor a flight of five of our acclaimed wines in the rustic charm of our Great Barn, Picnic Lawn, or Dance Hall.
Glass of Wine – Already have a favorite? Enjoy a glass while unwinding, celebrating a birthday, or soaking in live music.
Reserve Wine Tasting – Indulge in a flight of our reserve, small-lot, and library wines, often featuring a special barrel tasting. Available the first Saturday of each month or by appointment for large groups.
Black Bicycle Farm Wine Tasting – Explore our natural, orange, and distinctive wines during this exclusive tasting on the second weekend of each month.

About Our Property
Your visit begins with breathtaking views of our organic vineyards, adorned with wildflowers and frequented by jackrabbits and birds. As you stroll up our scenic driveway, you’ll encounter the enchanting Spanish colonial façade of our winery. The path leads to our tasting areas, featuring The Dance Hall and The Great Barn, where you can choose a comfortable seat either under cover or on our lush lawn. During your tasting, your wine educator will share fascinating details about our property and its unique charm.

Experience a wine tasting like no other—a truly beautiful and memorable journey for your senses. Whether you’re a seasoned wine enthusiast or a curious newcomer, all you need is a desire to savor exceptional wines.
Relax in our rustic tasting room or beautiful gardens while enjoying a flight of five of our finest Great Bear Vineyards wines. Our knowledgeable wine educators will pour your selections tableside, sharing the rich history of our winery and guiding you through the tasting experience. They’re happy to answer any questions about the wines or winemaking process, making your visit both enjoyable and informative.
After your tasting, feel free to linger and unwind in our serene surroundings. Select your favorite wine to enjoy by the glass or bottle, and complement your experience with a selection of snacks and cheeses available for purchase.

An Afternoon or Evening of Wine and Relaxation at Our Rustic Vineyard
Immerse yourself in the charm of our rustic winery while savoring exceptional wines in our picturesque gardens. Whether celebrating a special occasion or simply unwinding with friends, our tranquil setting offers the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening.
Choose from four exquisite wines that showcase our vineyard’s unique character. After your first glass, linger at your leisure with a second glass, share a bottle, and savor the ambiance.
Pair your wine with artisanal snacks and cheeses, available for purchase. On Friday evenings (March–November), enjoy live music (6–7:30 PM) and a food truck (5 PM–close).

Exclusive Reserve Wine Tasting at Great Bear Vineyards
Join us for a one-of-a-kind Reserve Wine Tasting experience at Great Bear Vineyards, where elegance meets our rustic charm. This intimate event features exclusive barrel tastings to enhance your journey through our finest reserve wines.
Your five-glass tasting will be guided by our owners, winemakers, or most experienced wine educators, offering unique insights into our craft. Weather permitting, the experience may include a leisurely stroll through our estate vineyard, where you’ll see the vines up close and discover the distinctive terroir that shapes the character of our wines.
Among the exceptional wines you'll taste is our award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon, Clone 6, recognized with a prestigious Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
We look forward to welcoming you to Great Bear Vineyards for this exclusive opportunity to savor our reserve wines, connect with our winemaking team, and immerse yourself in the art and passion of winemaking.
Reserve Tastings are held on the first Saturday of each month starting at 12.30pm & 2.30pm. Arrive at 11.45am if you would like to join the vineyard walk and learn about the grape lifecycle. Great wines start in the vineyard!

Natural Wine Tasting
Join us at Great Bear Vineyards for a journey into the world of Black Bicycle Farm Natural, Orange & Interesting Wines. This tasting experience features five unique wines, each crafted with organic grapes, and minimal intervention to highlight the purity of the vineyard.
Savor the bold flavors of Squiggle 2023, a yellow "orange" wine made from white grapes fermented with their skins, offering a structured profile with citrus notes. Discover the beautifully layered Orange Tipple 2023, with elderflower on the nose and vibrant hints of apricot, honey, and orange.
Explore the richness of Clash of the Titans 2022, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel, balancing red and dark fruits. Delight in the story behind After The Fire 2020, a Cabernet Sauvignon crafted from grapes harvested during the 2020 wildfires, showcasing depth with hints of spice. Finish with the Carbo Cab 2019, a natural, unfiltered wine featuring Bing cherry and candied strawberries, made with carbonic maceration for added complexity.
Set in the rustic elegance of our winery, this tasting is a celebration of innovation, sustainability, and the art of natural winemaking.
